Philosophy & Approach
We truly enjoy being in the studio. There’s nothing better than a finished product after working hard alongside a band or solo artist. It takes persistence to capture what an artist envisions. We encourage experimenting, listening, and a being extremely selective with performances.
The Internet has made this world much smaller. Inexpensive equipment allows anyone with a computer to record
at home. Everyone you meet personally knows at least one person in a band and wishes they were on the radio. We’re here to help you exhibit your talents and what makes you or your band unique. Demos are a thing of the past. We treat all projects as final products and hope our clients do the same.
It takes time in the studio for all this to happen. It takes time for artists to get amazing performances. It takes time
for engineers to get amazing tones. We advocate spending an adequate amount of time for a certain project. Otherwise, we suggest turning an Album into an EP, an EP into a 3-Song Demo, or a 3-Song Demo into a Single.
We strive for quality. To achieve this, our top concern is quality of: musicianship, songwriting, instruments, room acoustics, microphones, microphone placement, microphone amplification, the engineer, the producer, etc.
Styles
We’ve recorded a diverse range of styles over the years: Rock, Rap, Jazz, Pop, and most everything between. A good song done well is what’s most important, regardless of genre.
Environment
We’ve designed a work environment that is pleasant, but without distractions so that you can create. A line of sight is continued throughout the control room, studio, and both isolation booths. |
